Monica Zarna

For the majority of the past 12 years I have been working in the cultural sphere, having different functions, from festival producer to touring manager in a house of culture and puppet theatre, to communications manager, project & network coordinator and conference manager for three European cultural networks (the European Network of Cultural Centres, the European Theatre Convention and RESEO - The European Network for Opera and Dance Education). I co-wrote Creative Europe and Erasmus+ funding applications, and I was a part of several EU funded projects, therefore I am very familiar with the administrative requirements, as well as constraints, of such projects, with various project management tools and procedures, and I excel at providing an environment favourable to results-oriented collaboration and best practice exchanges.

As manager and moderator of international events, ranging from project meetings, professional development seminars to high-scale conferences, I developed advanced project management, event planning, networking and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive as part of international teams. I hold a BA in French and English language and literature, and an MA in European cultural relations. I am fluent in four languages (English, French, German and Romanian), while learning a fifth one (Portuguese) and having understanding level of another two (Italian and Spanish), which makes me especially qualified to be a Reshaper.
