POGON – Zagreb Centre for Independent Culture and Youth
POGON – Zagreb Centre for Independent Culture and Youth is a cultural institution based on the new model of civil–public partnership. In 2008 it was jointly founded and is managed by the Alliance Operation City and the City of Zagreb. POGON is the drive for boosting the Zagreb independent cultural and youth scene. It’s mission is to support local independent organizations and artists, their programs in diverse contemporary arts and cultural disciplines as well as their youth activities, by providing venues and by helping build their capacities locally, by advocating their interests on a local and European level, and by facilitating their participation in international cultural cooperation.
